Benedetto Ristorante & Bar - Scottsdale, AZ

Note: L Kiel, the editor, has been moving around and found this in Scottsdale that surely caught his interest.
If you enjoy authentic Italian food served in a sophisticated atmosphere by an attentive, knowledgable, multicultural staff, then Benedetto's is definitely a fabulous dining experience that I would recommend to anyone.
A little hard to find—as it is hidden in the Village at Hayden Plaza and you have to wind west, back through the center to the upper level behind the chain restaurants that line Hayden.
The host, Guido, is always there to greet you either at lunch or dinner. He is the perfect guide through your dining experience. As an owner/manager, he oversees all the facets of this great restaurant. Benedetto's has a great happy hour with free poo poos and drink specials. The atmosphere is European with a cusual elegance.
I believe I had visited this restaurant a few months back under different ownership and previous owners delivered mediocre food and even worse service.
It is now the same name, but a totally different restaurant. The menu, the quality and the personal service make it a treat to go back for a terrific, elegant dinning experience.
Everyone should try Benedetto's once…then you won't be a stranger.
Note: It's really tempting to try!
